Angela is an experienced residential property solicitor with 18 years of expertise in the prime London property market. She specialises in advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, both UK-based and international, as well as domestic and offshore companies.
Her practice covers acquisitions and disposals of leasehold and freehold properties, with values ranging from £500,000 to £50 million, as well as secured financing, including Islamic finance transactions.
In addition to her transactional work, Angela has a specialist practice in tenancy matters, advising landlords and investors on assured shorthold tenancies, licences to occupy, common law tenancies, and broader landlord-tenant issues. She regularly provides legal guidance on statutory lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and has been at the forefront of advising clients on the Renters’ Reform Bill and its imminent impact on the UK rental market.
Originally qualifying as a commercial property solicitor, Angela’s early career involved advising on the acquisition and disposal of pubs, bars, restaurants, and offices.
Angela is known for her client-focused approach, ensuring transactions progress smoothly while providing clear, practical advice. She particularly values the relationships she builds with clients, agents, surveyors, and industry professionals, recognising that successful transactions rely on collaboration.
She has also contributed thought leadership to the sector, writing articles on key property topics, including:
