Maria Guida is a highly experienced Associate Partner in our Property Law team.

Maria qualified as a solicitor in 1994 in England and Wales, following her training at Field Fisher. She later gained experience at Baker & McKenzie and DMH Stallard, and spent four years as a partner at Knights plc. Maria holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

With a wealth of experience in commercial property law, Maria specialises in freehold and leasehold transactions, particularly high-value and complex mixed-use sites. She has extensive expertise in the disposal and acquisition of warehouses, offices, and industrial units, as well as commercial leases for both landlords and tenants. Additionally, she brings in-depth knowledge of alcohol licensing and high-value residential transactions, including leasehold enfranchisement.

Maria is known for her proactive, no-nonsense approach, working quickly and pragmatically to help her clients achieve their goals. She thrives on collaboration and enjoys tackling high-value, complex deals. Her passion for property law stems from its profound impact on everyone, whether renters or major real estate developers, making her work both challenging and rewarding.

As an associate member of the Licensing Practitioners Association, Maria actively contributes to the field and has written for prestigious publications like the Solicitors Journal and New Law Journal.
