Laurus Welcomes Dominic Danvers To Growing Property Team
Laurus is pleased to announce that Dominic Danvers has joined the firm as an Associate Partner in Property Litigation, further strengthening our full-service Property Law team.
Dominic joins Laurus with nearly two decades of experience in property litigation and landlord and tenant law. He advises private individuals, landlords, tenants, developers, investors and companies across a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use property disputes.
His arrival comes at a time when the legal landscape for property owners is becoming increasingly complex. Recent legislative changes, including the Renters’ Rights Act, leasehold reform and ongoing developments in building safety regulation, have created new challenges for landlords, investors and property professionals alike.
Dominic brings extensive experience in matters including possession proceedings, service charge disputes, lease renewals, forfeiture, dilapidations, boundary disputes, restrictive covenants, easements, nuisance claims and leasehold enfranchisement. He also has specialist knowledge of the Building Safety Act and the issues it presents for landlords, developers and leaseholders.
Having worked across both the private and public sectors throughout his career, Dominic offers clients a broad perspective on how property disputes arise and, importantly, how they can be resolved effectively.
His appointment reflects Laurus’ continued investment in specialist legal expertise and its ambition to provide clients with practical advice that helps them navigate increasingly complex legal and regulatory environments.
James Chadwick, Director of Property at Laurus, said:
“Dominic brings significant experience and expertise to the firm. Property disputes are rarely just legal issues. They often involve commercial pressures, financial considerations and important personal interests. Dominic understands that balance extremely well and approaches matters with a clear focus on achieving sensible outcomes for clients. His appointment strengthens our ability to support landlords, tenants, investors and property owners across an increasingly complex property landscape. We are delighted to welcome him to Laurus.”
Commenting on his appointment, Dominic said:

Dominic will work closely with colleagues across the firm to provide joined up advice where property disputes intersect with wider legal matters, including family law, estate planning and probate.
